Hello everybody! I am a very recent new-b owner of a Allis Chalmers ACP-80 KC serial # AFN511661 fork lift. I was trying to look this fork lift up using the serial # and I can not seem to find it anywhere. I purchased this thinking that it was a 1980, I believe that it is newer then that. Does anybody know how to look this up using the serial #?

I am trying to identify the engine in my 1982 Allis Chalmer Forklift ACP150 DS 2PS and/or find a repair manual for the engine describing the removal of the injection pump. I've got an Allis-Chalmers ACP 80 forklift and was wondering if anyone could tell me the year and/or a link to serial number identification for AC forklifts. The serial number is ALH119563. I've found a lot info on AC tractors, and some on construction equipment, but I've found very little on the later model forklifts like the ACP series.

From the picture your engine looks like a Waukesha. If I remember correctly, the continental F163 had the distributor sticking out of the top of the cylinder head. It has been 35 years since I worked at Allis Chalmers so my memory might be foggy. Also regarding the manual, the google site says it has the ACC-30 manual for download.
