When you fit the rod bearings you may need to bevel the bearing edges so they don't ride or bind on the fillet radius. Beveling the bearings if needed can be done by hand with a fine tooth round file and smoothed with 600 grit or scotch .brite pad install one rod w/bearing at a time and be sure it can rotate 360 degrees with not binding.
